India plans to reopen the application process for $10bn in incentives and assistance for prospective chipmakers. India launched a call for submissions last year, but it only attracted three applicants, none of which have made significant progress so far. It's now keeping the application process open-ended until the budgeted $10bn in incentives is exhausted, thereby giving more time to prospective companies to apply.
