Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, GIC, is considering investing ₹1,500 crore ($204 million) into IRB Infrastructure Trust, which is sponsored by IRB Infrastructure Developers, to support the acquisition of the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road project. This is the second-largest asset to be acquired by IRB following the Mumbai-Pune Expressway project. GIC is an existing shareholder in IRB Infrastructure Trust, holding a 49% stake.
