Assam cabinet approves Category-III of microfinance incentive and relief scheme, extends MoU with 37 lenders

Assam cabinet approved third category of the Assam Microfinance Incentive and Relief Scheme (AMFIRS), 2021. This include microfinance borrowers whose accounts had become NPA. The cabinet approved to rollout of Category-lll of the Assam Microfinance Incentive and Relief Scheme (AMFIRS), 2021. This include microfinance borrowers whose accounts had become NPA. NPA borrowers who have an outstanding principal amount up to 25,000 as on 31 March 2021. NPA borrowers not covered under Categories I and II.
