Nifty reclaims 12,000-mark; Vedanta slumps 10%

SBI, ITC, Hindalco, Axis Bank, and HDFC were the top gainers on the Nifty while Bajaj Auto, Hero Moto, Tata Motors, Divi's Labs and GAIL led the losses.
