The Nikkei 225 up 2%, Hong Kongs Hang Seng index jumped 1.65%, the Topix index gained 1.73%, South Koreas Kospi also added 1.71% as shares of Hyundai Motor soared more than 4% and the Shanghai Composite rose 0.2%.
