'Walmart paid Rs 7,439 cr tax on Flipkart deal; did not deduct taxes from 34 shareholders'

US retail giant Walmart Inc had on September 7 said it has complied with the tax obligations of its $16 bn acquisition of India's largest online retailer Flipkart but did not say the quantum of taxes it paid.
