Tomato prices drop but soaring veggies sour food budget

Tomato wholesale prices have fallen in Delhi after the government ordered fresh supplies from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra, but the price of other vegetables has risen because of disrupted supply. Most other vegetables, such as capsicum and bitter gourd, are now more expensive.
