Jack Ma joins University of Tokyo as visiting professor

Jack Ma, co-founder of Alibaba, is set to become a visiting professor at the University of Tokyo's Tokyo College, as of 1 May. The school has said that Ma, who has been out of the public eye since criticising Chinese regulators in 2020, will provide advice on research topics and conduct research, particularly in sustainable agriculture and food production.
