Scrapped govt vehicles will be replaced with green options for lowering oil Bill: Gadkari

Gadkari said about 900,000 government vehicles would be replaced by electric or alternative fuel vehicles to reduce the country's crude oil import bill as well as cut down on pollution. There is also a demand for about 1 million buses which should be converted to electric buses as they offer a far superior operating cost while also reducing pollution, he said.
