Fishmeal duty cut to help revive shrimp exports to US, other countries

Indian shrimp exporters will become competitive, particularly in their largest market the US, as the decision to cut import duty on fish meal and other inputs, announced in the FY24 budget, will bring down shrimp production cost by 5%, industry officials said.
