Google AI researcher's exit sparks ethics, bias concerns

More than 1,200 Google employees on Friday demanded that Google explain why it had dismissed Artificial intelligence scholar Timnit Gebru. Gebru's research has included showing the likelihood of facial detection technology making mistakes when identifying people of color.
