ADB sees lesser contraction than expected in Asia amid better China, India growth prospects

ADB expects India to bounce back with growth of 8% next year, emerging from a projected contraction of 8.0 per cent this year, less than the 9% per cent decline previously forecast. China is projected to grow 2.1 per cent this year, faster than the ADB's September estimate of 1.8 per cent.
