Monthly wage loss from first 2 lockdowns Rs 34,000 cr: Study

The estimated monthly wage loss caused by job cutbacks in the country in the first two lockdowns alone would amount to Rs 33,800 crore, according to a new study published as a working paper by the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research.
