The Income Tax (I-T) department on Saturday notified that the last date for filing Income Tax returns (ITRs) for the financial year (FY) 2019-20 (assessment year 2020-21) has been extended till Nov 30, 2020, in view of the challenges faced by the taxpayers due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
