NITI draws up plan to curb stubble burning

The NITI Aayog is set to work out a fiscal package for a quick adoption of technology to decompose straw in situ which apparently is available at the laboratories. The Aayog plans to standardising it and testing on the fields from next year onwards and has directed Indian Agriculture Research Institute to expeditiously conduct field trials of the same.
