FM: Will review jail clause for CSR violations

Following sharp criticism of the up to three years of jail term for company executives and stringent fines ranging from Rs 50,000-Rs 25 lakh for CSR violation, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday assured India Inc that she would review the criminal penal provisions. She also promised more simplification of the taxation system to end the harassment.
