Tata Motors Q4 net profit dips 49% to Rs 1,109 crore

Homegrown auto major Tata Motors on Monday reported 49 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,108.66 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,175.16 crore in the same period previous fiscal, it said in a regulatory filing. Total income during the period under review stood at Rs 87,285.64 crore as against Rs 91,643.44 crore in the year-ago period.
